The Websites provide information about our farm, products, services, and memberships for public convenience. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, medical, nutritional, or financial advice. Always consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.

No Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Websites and all content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Purple Pepper Farms, B&B LLC, its officers, employees, agents, and contractors disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of — or inability to use — the Websites or our services, including but not limited to errors, omissions, interruptions, or inaccurate information.

Agricultural Risk Disclosure

Farming involves inherent risk. Crop yields, product availability, and share contents vary due to weather, pests, disease, and other environmental factors outside our control. By purchasing a CSA membership or farm products, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Purple Pepper Farms is not liable for crop shortfalls, changes in produce variety, or unavailability of specific items.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Websites — including text, photos, logos, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Purple Pepper Farms / B&B LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.

What Information We Collect

Personal Information: When you place an order, sign up for a CSA membership, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and payment details.

Non-Personal Information: We may collect IP addresses, browser type, device information, and browsing behavior on our Websites through cookies and analytics tools.

How We Use Your Information

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Sharing of Information

We share your information only as needed to fulfill services — for example, with payment processors (PayPal, Venmo, Stripe via Shopify), shipping carriers, or our web platform providers (Shopify, WordPress). All such parties are bound by confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law or court order.

Third-Party Dropship Providers

If you purchase a dropship product (e.g., tropical houseplants through our store), your order information may be shared with our third-party supplier — House Plant Wholesale — solely to fulfill your order. Their privacy practices govern data they collect independently. We do not control their practices.

Payment Security

Payment transactions on our Shopify store are processed securely through Shopify Payments, PayPal, and Venmo. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

Cookies & Analytics

3. Return & Refund Policy

3A. Fresh Produce, Farm Stand Products & Perishables

All sales of fresh produce, plants, flowers, eggs, meat, and other perishable farm products are final. Due to the perishable nature of these items, we cannot accept returns. If you receive a product that is damaged, incorrect, or of poor quality, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery at 570-815-7861 or purplepepperfarms@gmail.com so we can make it right.

3B. Packaged Goods, Sauces, Merchandise & Non-Perishables

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

Conditions for Return:

Refunds: Upon receiving and inspecting your returned item(s), we will process your refund within 7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, excluding original shipping costs. If the product is defective, a full refund including shipping will be issued.

Exchanges: If you wish to exchange an item, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

3C. Dropship / Third-Party Products (Tropical & Houseplants)

Certain products in our online store — including tropical and houseplants — are fulfilled directly by a third-party supplier, House Plant Wholesale. These products are subject to their own returns and refund policy:

4. CSA / Farm Membership Terms

Payment & Commitment

Pickup Responsibility

Members are responsible for picking up their weekly share. Shares not picked up will be donated and cannot be held or rescheduled.

Refund Policy for Memberships

CSA memberships are non-refundable once issued. Members participate in a farm-based bio-system subject to weather and environmental factors outside our control.

Pork & Specialty Orders

Pre-ordered pasture-raised pork requires a $200 non-refundable deposit; final payment due at harvest. Butchering fees ($60–$80) paid separately to the processor.

5. Wholesale Terms

Purple Pepper Farms offers wholesale pricing to qualified restaurants, retailers, and local businesses in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

6. Catering & Food Trailer Terms

Custom catering and mobile food trailer bookings for events throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.

7. Accessibility Statement
